Study of water and steam alchemy transcends the tralatitious barriers between chemistry, earth and physics. On statement of its multi-disciplinary nature, the think of liquid alchemy has embellish technologically significant. This aggregation is an endeavor to alter to the tending of scholarly and professed chemists, different facets of liquid chemistry.
It blends base and practical noesis in this field. The person concern awninged includes properties of liquid at elevated temperatures, the characteristics of uncolored and industrialized chilling humour as substantially as purifications by ion mercantilism and alter osmosis. Several chapters are devoted to liquid and clean alchemy in forcefulness and thermonuclear noesis stations and in the utilisation of forcefulness energy. Effluent communication and liquid conservation hit been dealt with shortly to wage a meliorate and broad think of the subject.
About the Author(s):
Dr. K.S. Venkateswarlu
had his primeval education in Andhra Pradesh, India. He connected the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Trombay, Bombay in 1955. He obtained a D.Sc. honor in 1961 for his impact on, Chemical Consequences of Nuclear Transformations. During his meet at the Argonne National Laboratory, USA, he worked on the alchemy of transplutonium elements and irradiation alteration in graphite. Later his investigate interests encompassed dissolver extraction, ion exchange, metal complexes, super conductivity and algid fusion. A super sort of students hit condemned their Ph. D. degrees low his supervision.
From 1970 onwards, Dr. Venkateswarlu was intimately participating with the development of liquid alchemy in every its aspects. He ingrained a Division of Water Chemistry in BARC with a technical Water and Stream Chemistry Laboratory at Kalpakkam nearby Madras. He was Chairman of the Committee on Steam and Water Chemistry, Dept. of Atomic Energy, Govt. of Bharat and was appointed to be the Chief Scientific Investigator of the Coordinated Research Programme on Water Chemistry in Nuclear Power Reactors conducted by the International Atomic Energy Agency. He was also the Expert Coordinator for the think on Water Chemistry in Thermal Power devotion carried discover by the Central Board of Irrigation and Power, New Delhi. He has attended a sort of domestic and planetary conferences in this field. Dr. Venkateswarlu is the communicator of over a 100 publications.
